Local government elections are coming to Port Alberni and the Alberni-Clayoquot Regional District this October. Before candidates start officially campaigning, the Chamber wants to hand them a clear, member-informed list of business priorities — not guess at them.
Why are we asking? One of the Chamber's most important roles is advocating for local business. Being the Voice of Business means listening to you, the business community and not-for-profits, identifying common challenges and opportunities, and bringing those forward to local governments and decision-makers.
Your responses will directly shape AVCC's Advocacy Agenda which we'll publish before nominations close and put in front of every candidate. They'll also guide our advocacy priorities and election conversations more broadly, so we can represent the collective voice of the business community.
This survey takes about 5 - 10 minutes. The more businesses we hear from, the stronger our voice becomes.
