Civic Affairs

The Chamber of Commerce has a Civic Affairs Committee that meets on the second Tuesday of every month at the Chamber office (7:30am). The focus of the committee is to monitor local issues affecting the business community including taxation, bylaws, growth opportunities etc. Through the committee we then forward agenda recommendations to our Board of Directors who in turn direct the staff to share comments with the City.

Our Committee has been very successful in helping the City understand the wants and needs of the Business Commuinity and overall we've been pleased with the level of support and interest that the City typically takes with respect to our comments.
