The Chamber of Commerce is pleased to bring the Vancouver Island Running Association back to Port Alberni. The VIRA have a series of runs that occur between January and April every year throughout the Island with each of them attracting as many as 500 - 600 runners to town. We will be doing the former Paper Chase run through the rural area of Cherry Creek with a start/finish at the Cherry Creek Hall. Our run will be a 10 k run. www.islandseries.org

Yes they are certainly are welcome, as long as they are accompanied by a parent or guardian. We offer a menu to accommodate smaller appetites too! For safety reasons, we kindly ask that children stay seated with their accompanying adult, thank you.
