Chamber joins VIRA to bring 500 runners to Port Alberni | Alberni Valley Chamber of Commerce

The Chamber of Commerce is pleased to bring the Vancouver Island Running Association back to Port Alberni. The VIRA have a series of runs that occur between January and April every year throughout the Island with each of them attracting as many as 500 - 600 runners to town. We will be doing the former Paper Chase run through the rural area of Cherry Creek with a start/finish at the Cherry Creek Hall. Our run will be a 10 k run. www.islandseries.org

He is a big fan of Port Alberni and when he is not working he can be found swimming at the lake or adventuring down the back roads of the Alberni Valley.
