As the 2022 Tourism is about to start we thought it appropriate, if not wonderful, to invite the community to a feature event. New Owners in 2021 for Lady Rose Marine Services, new owners for Broken Island's Lodge (formerly Sechart Lodge part of Lady Rose Marine Services), New Owners for Della Falls Water Taxi, a New Campground called Coleman RV and Campground featuring 34 spots along the Stamp River, the now fully operational Bike SEAT program offered at McLean Mill National Historic Site, and of course the site Management, New Owners at Coombs Country Candy, Updated facilities at China Creek Campground, Expanded services at Pachena Bay Campground, New Business in 2021 West Coast Paddle, Nearly new Business also at China Creek called Wind Riders Kiteboarding, New Owners in 2020 of Fish n Duck Houseboats and so much more!
Our event is currently planned for Friday, April 29/22. The event is being planned for a special location; a floating one; the MV Frances Barkley. We will invite ownership of all the above mentioned businesses and others. Each would be offered opportunity to share a few words about their businesses. We will have the event catered likely by a combination of our three local Craft Breweries.
None of this is specifically confirmed at this point. It's a work in progress. A fun work in progress.
