Winners Announced for the 2024 Alberni Valley Business Excellence Awards
Port Alberni, BC – The Alberni Valley Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce the winners of the 2024 Business Excellence Awards. The awards gala, held on Friday, November 29, at The Italian Hall, celebrated the achievements of businesses, individuals, and organizations that make the Alberni Valley an exceptional place to live, work, and thrive.

“This year’s winners embody the spirit and resilience of the Alberni Valley,” said Jolleen Dick, CEO of the Alberni Valley Chamber of Commerce. “Each of them has demonstrated outstanding contributions to our community, and we are so proud to celebrate their successes. A special moment during the evening was the presentation of the Citizen of the Year Award by the Arrowsmith Rotary Club. This year’s recipient, Richard Spencer, was honored for his exceptional contributions to the community. While not part of the official Business Excellence Awards process, this recognition was led by and selected by the Arrowsmith Rotary Club and highlighted the spirit of service and dedication that enriches the Alberni Valley to an outstanding citizen. Congratulations to Richard for this well-deserved honor!
