Awards Committee
- Tasked with the annual Community Excellence Awards event.
- The Committee meets at least monthly starting in October every year.
- The committee itself is tasked with sourcing out nominations either through their own local observations or through business connections they may have.

- Develop strategies for member retention and recruitment.
- Conduct member surveys and feedback loops.
- Review existing membership materials (welcome package, benefits, etc) to ensure relevancy.

- Increase awareness on public policy and potential impacts to members and the business community
- Identify and prioritize advocacy issues that address business needs and concerns
- Develop a plan for addressing issues with the appropriate levels of government.
