Awards Committee

• Tasked with the annual Community Excellence Awards event.
• The Committee meets at least monthly starting in October every year.
• The committee itself is tasked with sourcing out nominations either through their own local observations or through business connections they may have.
• We are always looking for more people to be part of this committee.

Membership Committee: Enhancing Member Experiences

Drive Growth and Engagement Within Our Chamber! In alignment with Strategic Goal #2 - Service Delivery we are aiming to deliver a membership program that demonstrates value and meets the needs and expectations of the business community.

The Membership Committee is all about creating value for our members. Your creativity and passion for engagement will directly contribute to growing our membership base and enhancing the overall member experience.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop strategies for member retention and recruitment.
• Conduct member surveys and feedback loops.
• Review existing membership materials (welcome package, benefits, etc) to ensure relevancy.

Policy & Advocacy Committee: Your Voice in Policy

In alignment with the Chamber's Strategic Goal #1 - Business Support, The Policy & Advocacy Committee is where policies meet practice. Engage with policymakers, shape advocacy strategies, and represent the interests of our business community in the governmental arena.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Increase awareness on public policy and potential impacts to members and the business community
• Identify and prioritize advocacy issues that address business needs and concerns
• Develop a plan for addressing issues with the appropriate levels of government.
