7:00pm - Tom Maclean - Collette Vacations. Tom is going to show us a wonderful PPT on the upcoming trip to Europe. With stops in Vienna, Prague and Budapest this will be an amazing trip for any and all to enjoy. These trips are open to the public and are cost effective through our relationship with Collette Vacations and Twin Travel in Port Alberni. You're going to want to join the group!
7:25pm - Gord Johns - MP Candidate representing the New Democratic Party of Canada. The C of C has invited all Federal Party nominees to speak at our Dinner Meetings. Mr. Johns is first and he will be followed by Honourable John Duncan current MP representing the Conservative Party of Canada. Mr. Duncan is scheduled to speak to us on Wednesday, May 20th @ Chances Rim Rock (also our AGM). The Liberal Candidate - Ms. Carrie Powell-Davidson is scheduled to speak with us at Boston Pizza on Wednesday, June 24th.
Mr. Johns is a wonderful speaker who is very passionate about the Mid-Island area. A resident of Tofino and past Executive Director of the Tofino LOng Beach Chamber of Commerce Mr. Johns is well known and very well respected in these parts. His passion is contagious! Please join us in welcoming him to our Dinner Meeting for March.
