We're in for a treat! Dinner Meeting at Tseshaht Building on the Somass River.

Dinner by Tseshaht: We're told that we'll be enjoying some fresh Salmon, fresh Halibut and perhaps some other fine foods to help your taste buds!

After dinner we'll be welcomed by some Chamber announcements and following that we'll enjoy a presentation from Huu-ay-aht First Nation where they'll update us on their recent property acquisitions and plans for Bamfield.

Keynote speaker for the evening will be Mr. Hugh Braker - Elected Chief Councillor

Western Canada Marine Response Corporation (WCMRC)

WCMRC is the Transport Canada-certified marine spill response organization for Canada’s West Coast. Their mandate under the Canada Shipping Act is to be prepared to respond to marine oil spills along all 27,000 km of British Columbia’s coastline, and to mitigate the impact when a spill occurs. This includes the protection of wildlife, economic and environmental sensitivities, and the safety of both the responders and the public.
