This fall, we asked for your support to speak directly to government through your networks by participating in our annual Collective Perspective (CP) Survey, the largest annual economic snapshot of BC’s business climate. We received a record-breaking 1,555 responses and are pleased to present you with this year's

 

 

What did we learn this year from the provincial data?

  • Confidence in the BC economy has remained stagnant year over year, with even less confidence reported in the Canadian and Global economy.
  • Power to the women! You accounted for more than half of survey responses this year, with extra analysis on female entrepreneurs – a first for the survey.
  • The cost of doing business, labour shortages, and climate change remain key challenges (and some opportunities) for BC businesses.

We encourage you to use these findings to better understand the current economic outlook for BC and to align your business to thrive under our current & future conditions.

My name is Lance Goddard, Owner/Operator of LDG Electrical Limited based out of Port Alberni, BC. LDG Electrical is a diverse electrical contracting company that specializes in Residential, Commercial, Industrial, and Specialized Electrical and Low Voltage Systems. Some of these specialties include, but are not limited to, integration, installation and maintenance of High Voltage, Fire Alarm, Surveillance and Security, Access Control, Low Voltage Lighting Control, Building Automation, HVAC Control, Networking and Data, and much more.

At LDG Electrical, we pride ourselves and are firmly committed to the high standards we have set for ourselves.  Our dedicated staff and technicians constantly strive to stay up-to-date in our rapidly changing world. In fact, we fully embrace and welcome all electrical innovations and look forward to tackling these new challenges.  If there is something we have not worked on, we are happy and fully prepared to do what it takes to master the challenge.

LDG Electrical Limited holds an “A” Ticket Field Safety Representative Certification granted by Technical Safety BC which certifies us to work on Unlimited Voltage/Unlimited Current Electrical Systems. This allows us to install/maintain a wide range of electrical installations from High Voltage Power Poles and Distribution Systems to Low Voltage Data and Control Systems.

At LDG Electrical, we are currently focused on growing and branding our company to accommodate the addition of 2 full-time Journeyman electricians to our team! For the past 6 years, LDG Electrical has been working extensively in residential installations in Port Alberni. As our company continues to grow, we are now reaching outside of the Alberni Valley to include Tofino/Ucluelet, Parksville/Qualicum, Nanaimo, and surrounding areas. If work is available outside of these areas, we will work to accommodate the project.
