The Port Alberni Folkfest Multicultural Society (PAFMS) organizes the July 1st Canada Day celebration in the Alberni Valley, with major support from the department of Canadian Heritage and the City of Port Alberni as well as private businesses and social clubs. We welcome new volunteers to help the community celebrate our gratitude for our quality of life in Canada!

ABOUT THE PARADE
To register as an entry in the 2022 Canada Day Parade, please complete the online registration form at https://tinyurl.com/yxobf8qt
Alternatively, the paper form listed below can be returned to us after completion by email, dropped off at the front desk of the Echo Centre, or mailed to the PAFMS Canada Day Committee c/o Echo Centre, 4255 Wallace St. Port Alberni, B.C. V9Y 3Y6.
There is no fee to enter the parade. Information regarding the conduct of parade entrants can be found below in the file list. Marshalling instructions will be provided closer to Canada Day once registration is completed.
HARBOUR QUAY FOOD AND CRAFT VENDORS
Booth space is available at the Harbour Quay for food and craft vendors.
To register as a vendor, please complete the relevant registration form listed below. The paper form can be returned to us by email on completion, dropped off at the front desk of the Echo Centre, or mailed to the PAFMS Canada Day Committee c/o Echo Centre, 4255 Wallace St. Port Alberni, B.C. V9Y 3Y6. A Committee representative will be in touch to follow up.
Please note the Echo Centre reception desk cannot accept payments to us. Vendors can pay via an e-transfer of the fee to alberniparade@gmail.com, or by cheque made out to PAFMS, and mailed to the PAFMS c/o 10037 Stirling Arm Crescent, Port Alberni, V9Y 9C6.
