The Alberni-Clayoquot Regional District (ACRD) is in the midst of an essential public engagement phase for their Solid Waste Management Plan (SWMP), and your voice matters! SWMPs are mandated by the Ministry of Environment & Climate Change Strategy and serve as a roadmap for how the region will manage waste and work towards significant waste diversion goals over the next decade.

This is your chance to learn about the key initiatives that will shape waste management in our community and how your business can be part of the solution. Your feedback is critical to ensuring that the plan reflects the needs of local businesses and residents.

Don't miss this opportunity to engage directly with the ACRD team, hear an overview of the SWMP, and provide valuable input before the plan is finalized. The public engagement period runs from October 2 to November 7, so this luncheon is a timely chance to have your say!
